About Us
Our Commitment to Excellence
At Austin’s Boxer Puppies, we’ve dedicated ourselves to raising exceptional Boxer puppies that become cherished family members for years to come. Our passion for this magnificent breed runs deep, and we take immense pride in our ethical breeding practices that prioritize health, temperament, and the preservation of the Boxer’s best qualities. Located in a loving home environment, our puppies are raised underfoot, meaning they’re exposed to the sights, sounds, and experiences of everyday life from their very first weeks. This early socialization creates confident, well-adjusted puppies who transition smoothly into their forever homes.
Responsible Breeding Practices
We believe that responsible breeding goes far beyond simply pairing two dogs together. Each of our breeding dogs undergoes comprehensive health testing, including cardiac evaluations, hip screenings, and genetic testing to ensure we’re producing the healthiest puppies possible. Our parent dogs are carefully selected not only for their excellent conformation to breed standards but also for their outstanding temperaments—because we know that a Boxer’s loyal, playful personality is just as important as their physical characteristics. We maintain a limited breeding program, which allows us to give each litter and every puppy the individual attention they deserve during those crucial early weeks.
Lifelong Support and Partnership
When you welcome a puppy from Austin’s Boxer Puppies into your home, you’re not just getting a dog—you’re joining our extended family. We provide ongoing support and guidance throughout your Boxer’s lifetime, from answering training questions to celebrating milestones with you. Each puppy comes with age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a comprehensive health guarantee, and a puppy care package to help you start your journey together. We carefully screen potential families to ensure the perfect match between puppy and home, because our ultimate goal is to see every one of our puppies thrive in a loving environment where their unique personality can flourish. Your Boxer’s happiness and well-being will always be our top priority, long after they leave our care.
The Boxer puppies
Boxer puppies are born with incredible energy and curiosity that seems boundless from the moment they open their eyes. These little bundles typically arrive in litters of six to eight puppies, though some litters can be smaller or larger. At birth, they weigh only about one pound, but their growth rate is remarkable—they can gain several pounds per week during their early months. Their distinctive pushed-in faces and wrinkled foreheads are present from birth, though their features become more pronounced as they mature.
One of the most endearing characteristics of Boxer puppies is their playful, almost clownish personality that emerges early in life. They’re known for their unique “kidney bean” dance, where they twist their bodies into a semi-circle and wiggle enthusiastically when excited. This breed maintains puppy-like behavior well into their second or third year, earning them the nickname of being “Peter Pan” dogs that never quite grow up. Their exuberant nature means they require patient, consistent training from an early age to channel their enthusiasm appropriately.
Boxer puppies are born with floppy ears and a long tail, though historically these were often cropped and docked. Modern practices increasingly favor leaving these natural features intact, and many countries have banned cosmetic alterations. Their coat comes in two main colors—fawn and brindle—both typically accompanied by white markings that can cover up to one-third of their body. Some puppies are born predominantly white, though these are not accepted in many breed standards and may have a higher incidence of deafness.
Socialization is critically important for Boxer puppies during their first few months of life. They form strong bonds with their families and can become protective, making early exposure to various people, animals, and environments essential for developing a well-adjusted adult dog. These puppies are highly intelligent and food-motivated, which makes training relatively straightforward, though their stubborn streak means owners need to be firm and consistent. They thrive on positive reinforcement and can become destructive if left alone for long periods without adequate mental and physical stimulation.
