Austins Boxer Puppies
Boxer puppies are born with incredible energy and curiosity that seems boundless from the moment they open their eyes. These little bundles typically arrive in litters of six to eight puppies, though some litters can be smaller or larger. At birth, they weigh only about one pound, but their growth rate is remarkable—they can gain several pounds per week during their early months. Their distinctive pushed-in faces and wrinkled foreheads are present from birth, though their features become more pronounced as they mature.
Why Choose a Boxer Puppy?
One of the most endearing characteristics of Boxer puppies is their playful, almost clownish personality that emerges early in life. They’re known for their unique “kidney bean” dance, where they twist their bodies into a semi-circle and wiggle enthusiastically when excited. This breed maintains puppy-like behavior well into their second or third year, earning them the nickname of being “Peter Pan” dogs that never quite grow up. Boxer puppies are born with floppy ears and a long tail, though historically these were often cropped and docked. Their coat comes in two main colors—fawn and brindle—both typically accompanied by white markings that can cover up to one-third of their body.
